AND ORDER OF BUSINESS
January 29, 2014 in the Public
Library Memorial Room.
Board Meeting called to order at 6pm
by Mayor Frohne followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present:
Elected Officers - Mayor Ronald A. Frohne II, Trustee
Raymond Patrick, Trustee Duane Pierson, Trustee Robin Moshier and Trustee Frances
Hazelton.
Appointed Officers - Dayle A. Barra, Clerk and Donna
Wells, Treasurer
ZBA Secretary Mr. Bob
Moshier: Meetings
to resume each second Thursday of the month at 7pm.
Motion to waive the
reading and approve the January 14th Board Meeting Minutes made by Trustee Moshier,
2nd by Trustee Hazelton – all voted yes.
Clerk – Dayle Barra

Abstract
#15 Funds: General $5456.43, Water $1494.62, Sewer $7567.67, Trust
& Agency $206.60; Total: $14,725.32.
Treasurer will get supporting documentation for WWTP voucher from vendor.
Motion to approve Abstract #15 with
reservations made by Trustee Moshier, 2nd by Trustee Patrick – all voted yes.
► Village
Court is now each 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, per Judge
Bartle.
► Clerk participated in NYCOM Annual
Village Elections Webinar 1/27/14.
► Local Law 2014-1 to override 2% tax
cap levy limit introduced and discussed by Board members.
Motion to authorize a Public
Hearing on Local Law 2014-1 to override the tax levy limit established in General Municipal Law §3-C made by Trustee Hazelton, 2nd
by Trustee Pierson – all voted yes.
► Motion to advertise for an Office Assistant as outlined in previous
meeting made by Trustee Pierson, 2nd by Trustee Moshier – all voted
yes.
Treasurer – Donna Wells
► December 2013 Profit & Loss
furnished to Board.
► Motion to approve the following transfer made by Trustee Pierson, 2nd
by Trustee Hazelton – all voted yes. $778.00 from A1990.4 Contingent Account to
A1910.4 Insurance.
► Motion to approve adding any mailing costs incurred when mailing past
due notices on any water/sewer accounts made by Trustee
Pierson, 2nd by Trustee Patrick – all voted yes.
Mayor Frohne – Motion
to approve the appointment of Cindy Hall as Treasurer in Training made by
Trustee Pierson, 2nd by Trustee Hazelton – all voted yes.
Trustee Pierson – Discussion on village street signs
as prompted by a letter from Mr. Wilson on Linden Avenue .
Trustee Moshier – Further discussion on the
formulation of the Comprehensive Plan committee members. Three residents have
agreed to participate who include Mr. Jordan, Mrs. Leonard, and Mr.
Sterling.
Motion to adjourn
meeting at 7:33pm made by Trustee Moshier, 2nd by Trustee Hazelton –
all voted yes.
