PUBLIC HEARING &
BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
MINUTES AND ORDER OF BUSINESS

January 25, 2012 @ 6:00pm in the Public Library Memorial Room

Elected Officers:  Mayor Frohne, Trustees O’Connor, Kurkowski, Patrick, and Pierson
Appointed Officers:     Clerk – Dayle A. Barra       Treasurer – Donna Wells
Roll Call: Mayor Frohne, Trustee O’Connor, Trustee Pierson, and Trustee Patrick present. Trustee Kurkowski -absent.

Motion to waive the reading and to approve the January 11th, 2012 Board Meeting minutes made by Trustee O’Connor, 2nd by Trustee Pierson. Trustees Patrick, O’Connor, Pierson and Mayor Frohne all voted yes. Motion carried.

Abstract #15 Funds: General $10445.54, Water $2248.62, Sewer $15623.43, Trust & Agency $267.12, Capitol Projects $463.75 - Total: $29048.46. Motion to approve Abstract #15 made by Trustee O’Connor, 2nd by Trustee Pierson - all voted yes.

Treasurer – Donna Wells

Resolution to approve loan to H Fund $463.75 from General Fund to pay attorney fees on Voucher #16 made by Trustee O’Connor, 2nd by Trustee Pierson – all voted yes.
Permission granted from The Board to cancel West supplements in Municipal Law. These supplements are available online now.

Mayor Frohne- Resolution to declare SEQRA Negative Declaration for Zoning Chapters in Code Revision Law made by Trustee Pierson, 2nd by Trustee O’Connor –all voted yes.

Resolution to adopt Local Law #1-2012 to override the tax levy limit established in General Municipal Law made by Trustee Pierson, 2nd by Trustee O’Connor - all voted yes.

Resolution to adopt Local Law #2-2012 Village Code Revisions made by Trustee Patrick, 2nd by Trustee Pierson - all voted yes.

Trustee Patrick- Memorial Room well organized post Appraiser’s visit. Library needs to label the items that are in their care and get permission from The Village Board if they have any future plans to move, sell, or dispose of anything belonging to the Village.

Trustee Pierson- Bond’s field will be brush-hogged as needed this summer. New DPW truck very much liked by all and is getting signage this week.  Village office will send letter to DOT requesting reducing speed limit to 30mph from 40mph inbound from East as it is inbound from West.

Trustee O’Connor-Water plant is making strides with the heater that Ed Bello continues to improve the function of.

Motion to adjourn at 6:28pm was made by Trustee O’Connor, 2nd by Trustee Pierson– all voted yes. Motion carried.
